BODY MIND HARMONY - Energy- Based Healing and Cranial Sacral Therapy Integrative Energy Healing - A Safe, Natural Return to Good Health

Science has proven that around each person is an energy field. When clear, the body is in an harmonious state and is in an optimal position to fight off illness and cope with stress. A clear energy field allows a person to function well on all physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels of life.

I work with clients to clear blocks and congestion in their energy fields - whether recent or long-held - which in turn provides relief from physical pain and emotional distress.

Clients have reported numerous benefits including relief from depression, relief from chronic and acute pain, stronger immune systems and increased relaxation and well-being.

Cranial Sacral Therapy - Supplementing my Integrative Energy Healing is my experience with Cranial Sacral Therapy, a subtle hands-on healing technique that releases restrictions in the body using non-invasive gentle touch.

If you have pain, soreness, or distress either physical or emotional, I can help you find relief. If you've given up on traditional medicine or wish to let your body heal using its’ natural abilities, please contact me today to find out more and learn how IEH and CST can help you.

SHADY ISLAND LIQUOR STORE has been proudly serving the Steveston community since 2007. Located on the picturesque Fisherman’s Wharf, next to Shady Island Seafood Bar and Grill, we are a boutique liquor store offering an eclectic selection of wines, beers and spirits. Come on down and check out our selection!
With the Spring season technically around the corner (although it felt like it came much earlier this year), it’s time to switch over from the warm embrace of hearty red wines to crisp and refreshing white wines. This month, Shady Island Liquor Store is proud to feature two outstanding BC white wines from JoieFarm in the Naramata Bench.

JOIEFARM “A NOBLE BLEND” - This wine is without a doubt JoieFarm’s flagship wine. It is also a testament of the quality of wine that can be produced in the Okanagan when care and attention to detail is taken. A blend of 6 different grapes dominated by Gewurztraminer, this wine is elegantly aromatic, jumping out of the glass with perfumed notes of rose water, citrus fruits, green pear, and stone fruits. On the palate, it is slightly off-dry with some residual sugar, but balanced out by some lively acidity, trumping your taste buds into thinking that it’s dry. Along with some restrained spice notes, there is a sensual fruit explosion of lime, grapefruit, apricot, and green apple with a fresh minerality. Crisp and clean, well balanced and satisfying.

JOIEFARM RIESLING - Riesling was one of the first grape varietals planted in the Okanagan when German immigrants settled there. Years later, the result is some of the best white wines from the area, this one included. Bursting with green apple, apple blossom and tropical aromas, this wine has a refreshing fruitiness that is kept in check by a pleasingly spritzy acidity. An orchard-basketful of green apple in the mouth is further complemented by notes of pineapple, a hint of candied ginger and pink grapefruit. This Riesling is absolutely fantastic and may lead you to a wine epiphany.

These two wines are multiple awards winners from vintage to vintage, with the 2008 vintage of the Riesling winning a 2009 BC Lieutenant-Governors Award for Wine Excellence and “A Noble Blend” winning Double Platinum from the 2009 Wine Press Northwest Platinum Judging. JoieFarm certainly does not disappoint with the 2009 vintage either as it is equally as fabulous. Both wines pair very well with a variety of foods, most notably with chicken, roasted turkey, and seafood, and is very versatile with many spicy ethnic foods. The JoieFarm “A Noble Blend” and Riesling are on special this month at Shady Island Liquor Store and can be purchased chilled as well.
